Roger was born  on "date" of 1948 in Midland, Michigan and was the second oldest of seven kids.

He graduated from Midland High School in 19XX and was drafted into the Army in 19XX. He spent one year in training and a second in Vietnam.

When he returned, he met his first wife Sandy, in XXXX, Oklahoma and they were married on "date" 19XX.

After leaving the Army, Roger and Sandy spent a short time in Arizona, and then moved to "city", California in 19XX.
